“Saryba” is a performance racer and a great deal of fun to sail. Her
IOR rating gives her speeds of 6.8 - 6.9 knots upwind. However with
her funky futuristic metallic finish and brightly coloured
upholstery she certainly does not have the typically stripped out
interior of most speed machines. Powered by a Volvo 29HP diesel
engine. She has a variety of sails available including a new
mainsail and a roller furling North genoa. Can sleep 4 in two open
berths aft, plus 2 in the saloon. She is a hull sister to “Jade”
designed for the Admirals Cup, but a little further oriented towards
cruising in her deck layout and interior, with cockpit seats and
coamings, for example. For all this, “Saryba” was to become a highly
competitive boat in Spain for a number of years, winning the much
valued Copa del Rey several times and she still regularly competes
in races around the Balearics. In good condition and definitely
worth considering if you are looking to race with both style and
speed at an affordable price.
