Description
|
FARIKH ALBOOMA is a very well found, solid yacht. She
is cold moulded and hand crafted by master shipwrights.
This vessel is no run of the mill production hull. She
carries an oversized Aerorig (usually used on vessels
around 60ft). As a result, she can carry a lot of sail
area, and is very fast off the wind. FARIKH ALBOOMA has
not been raced much, but came second overall in the 1997
Round Tortola race, and she came 1st in class in the
2000 Foxy's Wooden Boat Regatta.
The
Aerorig is a rotating carbon-fibre spar, which was
designed to give high performance and safety levels,
whilst being extremely easy to sail short or single
handed. FARIKH ALBOOMA is constantly turning heads in
every marina and very easy to manoeuvre in tight
anchorages. With a (very) little practice, FARIKH
ALBOOMA can be sailed on and off moorings and tacked
effortlessly up a channel.
