Description

One of the smallest Jongert’s built, the 14m was built in 1977 to the same exacting standards of her bigger sisters. She is a round bilge steel cutter rigged ketch. She has undergone a major refit over the last four years with numerous items replaced – including the main and mizzen sails and all the electronics. Her hull was grit blasted in 2003, all plates that needed replacing were and then she was painted with 11 coats of epoxy. She is powered by a Mercedes 105hp that was rebuilt in 1996 and is in very good condition. She sleeps six in one double and one twin and one walkthrough twin cabin, and has two WC/showers. The saloon / galley area is in the aft of the vessel providing a huge space for entertaining guests inside, while her teak wheelhouse and cockpit covers provide a lovely protected cockpit whether sailing or just enjoying ‘al fresco’ dining. She is a very strong, safe and comfortable yacht that excels herself in strong winds. Her present owner has made many passages single-handed and she has been modified with this facility in mind. Reluctantly for sale as due to a change in business plans her owner is no longer to able to take her on the voyages that she deserves.
